So after a 24 hour bus journey we arrived in Puerto Madryn... and much to our disappointment it was absolutely freezing when we got here!! We arrived in Mendoza on Monday morning 21st, This place is basically a desert with artificial grass and hoses keeping trees alive! Apparently they only have 200mm of rain a year here and this definetly is'nt the season for it! Ok, well we finally got to Salta, back into Argentina thank goodness!! We were only there for 1 day so not too much to say really, we took a walk to the centre of the city and went to a museum called MAAM, which displays Inca girls found in the Andes mountains surrounding Salta who were found in 1999 buried in the 14th century after beeing sacrificed. It was pretty freaky, as every part of them were still in tact from the girls skin to their hair... unfortunately...
