Batemans Bay

Batemans Bay is a small fishing, beach and tourist town full of Aussie holiday makers and backpackers. We stayed in a luxurious (sarcastic) YHA caravan for two nights while we explored the place. Nice to chill out with just the two of us and feel like we're really doing the 'traveling thing' now. On the 8th Jan it was our 5 year anniversary (very soppy). Went for a shop (for Zoe), for pancakes (for Nick) and a walk to a quiet beach for a well deserved sleep. Thought of all the teachers starting the new term... ha ha. Ate on the waterfront in a local's restaurant, Sam's, and got a bit tipsy on our BYO wine. Feel like we've done this place, so off to Merrimbula a little further down the coast...
