Big news today - after much thinking Nick decided and went and had his head shaved!! When we'd been in town yesterday we'd seen a few barbers but he wasn't sure but after sleeping on it we walked into town this morning and went back to the barbers! There was a queue so we walked to the Swan Bell Tower and got some photos before heading back.

Nick explained to the barber that we are travelling so shorter hair would be better - they agreed on a 2 round the back and sides and 3 on top! The guy took the clippers straight down the middle of his head - no turning back now mate!

It looks really good, better than we both thought it would - suits him and so much better for the trip.

We did our big shop at the supermarket coming to 30A$, the same amount we spent on one meal at that Italian place! Used the hostel kitchen to make a budget spag bowl, was very improvised but tasted good and was a good saving!
