Day 3. Lakes, deserts, rock formations, mountains, volcanos, lava fields and salt flats. And loads more flamingos. Day 2 saw us up pre-dawn for a day packed with sights. The first sight was a flat tyre on our jeep, which turned out to be the first of many problems with it but more of that later. First actual stop was the ghost town of San Antonio. This was a mining town of some 1,200 people that was abandoned a few decades ago when the mines closed.
