We were welcomed to Los Angeles for a second time by Rey and Sophie (the dog!) and when we arrived at Sarah and Rey's house we were so glad to be sleeping on a proper bed that evening! LA is to be our home for the next 4 weeks!

Number one on our list of things to do was RELAX, so thats what we did on our first day. Sarah arrived that evening from San Fran and we all went for some Dairy Queen! How American! :)

We soon realised that Helen's engagement ring was missing as we had assumed it was in the safe but it was in fact put in the spare bedroom wardrobe while Sarah and Rey moved into their house from San Fran. It looks as if the removal guys stole it when the move was happening - obviously all has been reported to the police and insurance company etc!

Over the course of the first week Little Rey came down for the weekend and we all went to Disneyland (California Adventure) and acted like 10 year olds again. We ate lots of food - not looking good for our weight!

Rey's family arrived from San Jose and stayed for a couple of days to tour LA and surroundings. Sarah and Rey had a full house for a couple of days which was nice.

We also visited some Outlets, as you can't come to USA and not visit the Outlets. Obviously we both went a bit crazy buying entire new wardrobes (literally!). The rest of the time was spent going to the Gym which was weird as the last time we visited the Gym was more than 14 months ago. Nick also played some soccer with some local guys and we both applied for a couple of jobs ready for the reality showdown when we return to the UK.
