I know I say this a lot (which I appreciate!) but the last couple of days have again been wicked!!! On Saturday I went to the only 'clothes optional' beach in Vancouver with one of my housemate John- I have never seen so much nakedness in my life!! I thought there would be a few topless women but there were naked people EVERYWHERE - I was scared to look up from my book because every time I did there was a wrinkly iggy wot not!! It was very good fun though, felt very hippie darlings! Ate a veggie burger, listened to the drums and watched people getting high. Don't worry though, not turning hippy - I only ate a veggie burger as was too scared to trust the meat, so still a snob a heart. Stupid useless note - I did not take the pictures of all the naked people, that was john! I was not brave enough. Stupid useless note 2 - No I did not join in with the naked people. Today we all got up very early (6.30 AM!!!) to go on our boating trip. We all piled into the cars half asleep and headed to Harrison Lake. This place may be the most beautiful so far - I just could not believe I was standing in front of it, looked like some kind of postcard. We got there at 9am and it was baking! But so quiet, we had the whole place to our selfs for a bit which gave us time to appreciate how stunning it was, it was kinda misty so early and the snowy mountains in the background behind the beach kinda confuse you when its so hot (am quite burnt now!!). We went for some breakfast then off we went!! The boys rented a very expensive speed boat so they could do water boarding and us girls had a smaller boat that Liz, one of the girls, boyfriends own. Everything was exciting, like I have never docked a boat before! There was us 7 girls on our boat, then 7 boys on theirs and all day we all just pissed about, swam in the lake but the most exciting thing was when I got to TUBE!! Never done that before and I got pulled along by the boat, in well, a tube - was so fun. Had a mission getting in and out of the boat though which was making me laugh so much I thought I may drown. I need to be very nice to Katy now as she has some very embarrassing video footage of me trying to do so. In the afternoon we invaded the boys boat - which was a hell of a lot faster!!!!! I got thrown around all over the place, was not sure what was more important, holding my boobs in or holding on to the boat for fear of my life!! Don't wanna get all deep but there was a moment when the music was blaring, the boat was cruising, with all these cool people i've met, with the most stunning view I just thought to myself how lucky I am to be here. Well its back to work tomorrow!! Am currently in the process of training to be a senior server - so many little things to learn like what cocktails have bleedin cherrys in em!! Its good though, getting my brain back into gear after some serious lazyness.
