Jens World Tour
Sometimes taking a risk can pay off, and us leaving Hells Gate & coming to Vancouver seems to be one of those times. We feel very much at home here! It really is stunning & on a daily basis I hear tourists saying how much they love it here & would like to live here - its just one of those places that blow you away. I can happily just walk around the city, beaches and parks all day. The people here are so chilled out and friendly.
We are now living in a house with four other people. There is Mado (Persian) who is so sweet, John (Canadian) a ladies man, Andy (Kiwi) whom I am yet to met! And Chelsea (Canadian) a very smart young lady! Then me and Katy of course! I feel like I have known these people for ages, settling in right away - there is always something to do or somewhere to go - lots of fun here. As for the house its huge! with cable TV & internet (perhaps something to do with me not finding a job yet!!). Job hunting is going ok, I am determined to work in a restaurant which makes my life harder, I could easily get an office job as I have the experience but I wanna work as a waitress on the waterfront. Were see!!
Katys been doing so well with trying all the different foods (lasagna last night!) that I am going to follow suit (not with the food, you know I eat anything) but with all the scary sporty and adventure stuff (even though I nearly pooed myself walking over a suspension bridge in Hells Gate!!! - it kept moving!!) So there are plans for all sorts - white water rafting, sailing & skiing. Oh dear!!!!
Thanks to everyone for their messages & emails - gives me the motivation to keep the website up.
Love Jen
