Well what a day yesterday was. Went to work in the afternoon and helped Katy get a job with me in The Old Spaghetti Factory - its better more stable hours than where she is plus tips!! Also means we will have more of the same days off together and can do more touristy stuff as at the moment one of us is always working. I also managed to pick up some extra shifts as I think its time I start saving some money for Mexico!! After work the boys picked us up and we all went off to Climb Grouse Mountain - the 'Grouse Grind' - the hike is 1.8 miles of stairs and rocks to the top - very steep. Was pooing myself as I am not the sportiest of people but I really wanted to give it a go. I knew a few minutes in how hard it was going to be and I had never breathed so hard in my life! Thought my heart was going to pop out of my chest any second. I was of course behind everyone else and I felt terrible having to keep stopping which was slowing Katy and the boys down. After 40 minutes we reached the quarter mark and I was just about ready to pass out so I made a story up about a bear chasing me and made my way back down (which was actually harder) and Katy continued after some chocolate energy!!! Got the chair lift up like a real fat person would and met the others up there - was so proud of Katy doing it - it was SO hard!!! We have decided to go back and do it again without the boys so we can work at our own pace. It was so beautiful being in a mountain and when we got to the top the views were spectacular (I have put some photos on for you to see). We even got to see some (real) grizzly bears and on the way up the tram I saw some white wolfs!!! After that we all went home to get ready to go out and after a few beers at the - now second home - 'The Cambie' because its Johns birthday today off to a strip club we went and I have to admit I loved it!!! It was just like going to some kind of acrobat show!! The ways these girls can bend there bodies!! It was really good fun and John even got a lap dance as a bday present. He could not talk when he came out. I even got a bit of a proposition by one of the dancers asking me if I 'want some of these' whilst shaking her boobs in my face. Well its getting really hot here now in Vancouver!! Me and Katy are sunbathing today, drinking smooties (she loves em! She is making a strawberry and orange one as I speak, she is doing so well with her food trying, a strawberry had never even passed her mouth before we left England and here she is now making smooties!!) and were also showing people around the house as Madoo is moving out! Well sad! He is going to a trade school in Winnipeg - well gonna miss him! This weekend is all about enjoying the weather. Tomorrow were going to the beach and then Sunday were all going on a boating trip - there is going to be about 12 of us! Should be good fun. Well my smoothie is ready!
