On a high after Mt Bromo, we set sail again and landed on Bali. After 2 weeks of being the only white people, we were a little overwhelmed to arrive in the Australian settlement of Kuta! We wandered around the shops, watched the surfers and chilled out trying some curries. We also had a disappointing afternoon watching England get beaten by New Zealand in the rugby. Even more upsetting were the only other two England supporters sat in the bar enjoying a fruit juice and bottle of water! Have things really changed so much since we have been away??!!

We then moved on to the town of Ubud where we visited the Monkey Forest Santuary. Oh, how cute! - you might think! Well they were pretty vicious and even stole Nic's water from her! Think it was breeding time or something.... The town was really quaint and quiet and we had a nice relaxing time there. We decided to treat ourselves to an afternoon at one of the spas and loved every second of the 90 minute massage followed by full body scrub. Cameran and Oscar - you think your bums are smooth!!! It was such a treat after 4 months of zero pampering that we rounded the day off with a bottle of wine!

Last stop in Indonesia was the capital Jakarta. Oh, what an awful place! We got a hotel room with cable TV and camped out for 2 days until our flight to Borneo! We've also change the flight from Borneo to Australia from the 21st to the 29th July to give us more time in Borneo.
