Today we decided to explore the islands dotted around the bay. We caught a ferry to George's Island initially at a cost of $14 each. Then explored the island which has a huge fort on it. It is in a strategic place as the only way into Boston harbor was to negotiate your way through a channel that only passes this island. So during the war of independence they set up Fort Warren. We spent Sunday on a bus led shopping tour. The bargains were amazing! Dad managed to get himself a Van Heusen suit for under $100! Today I woke up early as Jude was off to the gym. I took the opportunity for a sleep in. We found a great place for breakfast which made omelettes to order. We had a day of traveling. We got up late-ish and grabbed some groceries from the store around the corner. Had our last cooked breakfast in the apartment in NY.
