Washington was a whirlwind. We toured and travelled non stop for two days and wore ourselves out! We knew that our trip was ending and squeezed in as much as possible. We saw:
- the white house
-the pentagon
-the capital building
-the library of congress building
-post office square and tower
-union station
- the Lincoln memorial
-the Washington memorial
-Arlington memorial cemetery
- the museum of American history
- the gallery of American portraits
-the smithsonian
AND inside Macy's of course!
Lynette and I are currently sitting in Starbucks in LA on manhattan beach 5 miles out from LAX while we stopover on our way home. Work tomorrow kids loves and life! Bring it! Have had an excellent adventure.
