We had a day of traveling. We got up late-ish and grabbed some groceries from the store around the corner. Had our last cooked breakfast in the apartment in NY. We packed slowly because we had till 11am to get to the station.
The Pennsylvania station was on maddison square garden. It was an amazing place. You go into the station and pay a redcap porter to assist you onto the train. If you do this then they fast track you onto the platform so you dint have to cue.

We tipped him well and got onto the train. Our seats were similar to airplane seats but wider. The trip was four hours but seemed to go quickly. We got to Boston in good time and the Sheraton wasn't too far from the station. Our hotel is joined to a huge shopping complex and several other hotels. We walked around and had an Asian dinner. Dad was exhausted after the trip so he went to sleep shortly after we arrived.
