Chilled out at the hostel for the rest of the day with the above. then headed out to 6th Street in the evening, was a biggie - had a good night, good laugh.

Time to leave today for a few of us. Devin in the morning, John by 7pm and me 11pm. John and I went to Barton Springs - just the 4 miles walk then, - Great idea Neil, where s***ty flip flops for a 4 mile trek, not the trekking shoes you have just paid $80 for - nob head! Anyway was a cool natural spring that stays at a constent 68 degrees - does look like a outdoor swimmin pool though down one side. Meet up with Kcie and Lady Bell (Yes that really is her name) Both from Austin - Went and had some spag bol together, then had to cut the night short a bit, John had to leave to catch his train and then i had arranged to met up with Andrea. Walked around the UT campus a bit before i then headed back to the greyhound station ready for thr manmoth mission to Flagstaff, AZ where i would meet up with Bert from LA who i met up with originally in NYC.
As for Austin, well its a pretty cool place, loads better than i expected, great nightlife, people are really friendly, nice weather, but i geuss not that much to do in the day, but as we were right on the river it was nice to chill out.
