21st Nov 2007… Woke up and got the YARIS (NP transport system) to Merced, then greyhound to LA. Checked into Banana Bungalow on Melrose in Hollywood which was recommended to me by two Swiss girls I met on the way back to the hostel last night. 19th Nov 2007... Checked out the Golden Gate Bridge in the morning before we left. Finally got to see it for the first time since arriving - so foggy and misty all of the time. We then headed west to Yosemite National Park well that was before we got pulled over by the cops for speeding. Doing 92 in a 55. John was a naughty boy... was so lucky not to go to jail...was so funny actually! Instead we had to Sonora town court to try and pay the fine for it. $200 - $3...

16th Nov 2007... Chedcked out by 11.00 - bert had to leave to go back to LA for his vacation with his family. Just as i checked out, wondering how i was going to get to San Fancisco, i received a call from John offereing me a left as he was heading that way too - sweet. 8- 9 hour califonia road trip to Sanb Fran. 15th Nov 2007... That double bed was far to comfortable.....woke up at 3pm...to Bert supping a bloody Mary after already hittin the slots for an hour or so. 14th Nov 2007... Well the Grand Canyon, what can i say - awesome - Kind of like i thought it would be but was pretty special. Got the shuttle bus when we arrived and did the red route - hermits rest on the south rim. The sunset made it look perrty good too - man i doing so many cool things - how cool is this!
