16th Nov 2007...

Chedcked out by 11.00 - bert had to leave to go back to LA for his vacation with his family. Just as i checked out, wondering how i was going to get to San Fancisco, i received a call from John offereing me a left as he was heading that way too - sweet. 8- 9 hour califonia road trip to Sanb Fran. Checked into the Green Tortoise Hostel - bit different, pretty liberal hippy type of place where you could drink, smoke and get high in the old skool ball room. I had the princess bed apparently (thought that would hafve been reserved for chatti Natti) and it was right in the bay of the window right underneath a very busy street of xxx clubs and srtrip bars - nice!! We ramdomly meet up with Per and Gustsav from Austin which weas cool so we went out for a couple of drinks.

17th Nov 2007...

John and i walked around Fishermans Whalf - touristly restaurants, bars, shops and but able to book Alcatraz tickets for the next day. Pleasent day really. checked out an In and out burger ' good shizzle ' was recomended it by so many people along the way!

Back to the hostel where they had free pool which was cool, man i´m getting good at that s*** now - obvioulsy easy american tables! Met up with a couple from Oxford called Jen and Neil 0 really nice couple shame they could stay around for longer but they were heading of to Vegas the next evening!

Headed out on the town in the evening - was up for a good night. Was recomended some bars around mission district but they weren´t that good - s***ty dive bars really but i think americans think they are good for some reason!

18th Nov 2007...

Headed to Peir 33 for the Alcatraz tour. It was the b******s, really good audio tour. check out the pics. Wasn´t as scary as i though but i could hacve done the night tour which would have been but it was fully booked for over a week.

Back to the hostel for a pool tournement with Neil and Jen before there departure. Then a fairly quiet night as had to be up early in the moring to travel to Yosemite National Park.

San Francisco - Beautiful city, lovin the hills and bridge etc but just lacked a bit of nightlife really. Maybe we should have gone out to a different area of the city. Oh well!
