27 Oct 2007....

Finally got to Niagara Falls at about 7 in the morning. Marc decided to come with me on the Greyhound rather than train as it was going to be a bit quicker!!

Checked into Hi Niagara where we were greated by this little chinese woman. She was great made us some breakfast before we hit the sack! Slept most of the day to recover from the journey, then got up and did my laundry for the first time - Marc showed me the ropes! Got back to the hostel where we met this chinese guy how had a car. We decided to check out the falls at night - was all lit up in rainbow colours - looked pretty cool. The chinese lady back at the hostel really sorted us out. She gave us extra jackets as it was freezin, really nice of her.

The chinese guy, chee, may have had a car but he couldn't drive for s*** - all over the road, red lights, 10 mph all the way - glad it was only a mile down the road. Apparently you get a better view from the canadian side so we went to go across the border but couldn't get across as Chee wasn't allowed over! Was fine though as we could go tomorrow! Didn't really expect this but there were so many casinos wax works, restuarents etc...really built up!

28 Oct 2007.....

No Chee with us this time so could walk across the border to canada today.

Started off on the american side, and went up the obersavation tower, unfortunalty the maid of the mist tours were just out of season so missed that - bit dissapointing. Hopped across the border - alot better views of the falls, watched a 40 minutes screening about the falls and then went out for a few drinks in the evening - was pretty dead though. i guess it was a sunday night and Niagara falls isn't best known for its party atmosphere.

Was a good day, well worth checking out the falls!

29 Oct 2007....

Up earlish....well old chinese lady told us to get up. She was always awake no mater what time of day. Marc was going back to NYC today to catch his flight home the following day. I decided i would go and check out Toronto today, considering how close i was to it. Booked into the Clarence Castle Hostel...meant to the the best in Toronto - took 3.30 hours.

On my own now for pretty much the first time since i got here really. Feels like i've been on Traveller training camp or something for the last week or so, getting into it though!
