Koh Phangan is pretty much Paradise!! the beach isgorgeous!! Jimand I had such a laugh in the sea, he was teaching me how to body surf waves, it was amazing!! (I still have to get my underwater photos developed!!!) There are loads of ace bars there - we found one in particular we liked where they plyed movies every night called Lazy house. We tended to go there for grub and pre-drinks, then head to the beach for the BUCKET BARS and fire dancing and fire skipping ropes which some drunk crazy people tried, ha ha!!

The highlight had to be the Full Moon Party!! Thousands of people hammered on the beach dancing and partying and covered in neon!! we went to same same bar first to watch a rock cover band who were ace!! (got our rock and roll fix before dance/trance on the beach!!) Then on the beach we got even more drunk of the beautiful buckets (man I miss them!!!). We dance on the beach and even on top of the bars!! there were roap ladders up to the top and slides down!! Everyone there is just having a fantastic time and its absolutely amazing!! Mind you, a huge party on the beach in Thailand that people travel from all over the world for....it was never going to be anything other than AMAZING was it??!! ha ha!!

The next night was awesome too - whilst most of the island was sleeping off hangovers (or, in the case of the pill heads, still going from the night before - lol - mentalists!!) Jim and I met up with Tim and Donna on the beach and got hammered on bucjets with them!! Itwas a fantastic night - especially great cos it was unexpected - we'd known they were on Koh Phangan but I hadn't checked facebook so hadn't seen a message of Tim telling him to meet us. We were on the beach literally about to go back to the hotel when we saw them!! (we even ended up staing out later than them....think I was doing cartwheels on the beach...again....I got quite into that every time I'd had a few!!

We chilled on the island a little while longer, making the most of the movies and Family Guy showing in the bars, and of course the buckets and the beach, and then it was time to head back to Bangkok. We were sad to be leaving but we went out with a bang!! It was the King's birthday and boy do they celebrate it in Bangers!!! Everyone wears pink and lights candles, and we saw the most amazing fireworks!!

We'd had an absolutely amazing time!! We would have loved longer than 5 and a half weeks, but the real world summoned (and lets face it - neither of us has exactly been deprived in the travelling stakes, ha ha!!). We'll never forget South East Asia and have so so many AMAZING memories!! It truly is a WONDERFUL place!!!

I wonder where we'll go on our next adventure.......!!!!
