I survived the Inca Trail!!!! Whoop!! It´s amazing!! My legs felt like they were going to drop off but it was definately worth it!! Day 2 is the hardest, where you pass the highest point, 4,200 metres, reassuringly, its called dead womans pass...ha ha!! Made it though, then the rest seemed pretty easy in comparison!! Machu Piccu is AMAZING, its absoutely beautiful, and so interesting to hear of the history, tha Spanish never found it so its an unspoilt Inca ruin. The porters who carry the bags and tens and stuff are brilliant, they just run off with it all while you´re there puffing and panting, ha ha!! They looked after us all so well at camp as well, the food was awesome!! Also, every night they had our tents set up for us before we got to camp. Camp was fun actually, lots of games of Uno were played! On the third night there´s a bar at the camp site too!! happy days!! ha ha!! Our guide Flora told us a spooky story about a spirit that lives in the Andes, was funny until I couldn´t sleep!! ha ha!!
My photo´s are taking ageeeees to upload but I´m working on it!! xxxx
Welcopme to the jungle..... whoop!! I survived the creepy crawlies!! I´ve seen so many tarantulas my fear of spiders is officially cured, ha ha!! We got there by boat and saw loads of animals on the way, a cayman, turtles, mackaws it was awesome!! Then we went for a trek through the jungle in the dark on the first night, was so scary but so much fun!! Moore kept screaming, ha ha!! The next day we went for another treck and found more wildlife, and we went on a boat trip to a lake, it was really pretty. That afternoon I felt quite poorly, but luckily I perked up in time to go and see some traditional jungle dancing!! That was really cool!! Shame I was a bit poorly but I still absolutely loved it and didn´t really miss anything!! I´d recommend it to anyone - especially if you have a fear of creepy crawliess!! xxxxxx
