27th Was nice to have a lay in and scrambled eggs for brekky at Emilys! had endless cups of tea (no powdered milk yay!) then got back on the greyhound bus to Brisbane. Bumped into some lads from Singapore..again! Hostel was really nice, had dinner and some drinks and mingled. I realised more people than I thought were in Oz, and a hockey friend from uni - Andy Leat- rang me and we arranged to meet up! had a little catch up and have a new love for cider with rasbe...

23rd - We arrived at Hervey Bay to swap buses, and we had a soya sauce leakage in our food bag so had to ditch a load of that!! Then my amazing flip flops broke - they've been through everything with me...I wanted to cry!! So comfy!! We got on another bus to Rainbow beach, much smaller but really nice place. Brought some new flip flops (weren't as gd as my oldies though)! Beach was amazing and the resort was good (dingos). We went to a huge sand blow (sand dune) ...

19th Arrived in airlie beach and headed to Magnums where we had a 10 bed dorm full of lads and 1 girl! They woke up and got talking, seemed like a nice hungoveer bunch!! We then booked our whitsundays and fraser trips...priceeeeyy!! and headed to the Lagoon! 17th - Got the plane to Cairns and saw such a variety of landscapes on the way! Got to Cairns and it rained! typical! We went and checked in and couldnt believe it...we saw Tessa perkins and her friend who I've known since i was young and played hockey with back home, and vic went to uni with her. didnt know she was in Oz ..so went for some drinks and food with them which was kwl! I went home early and the two chinese girls we shared with were so rude and grumpy...
