19th Arrived in airlie beach and headed to Magnums where we had a 10 bed dorm full of lads and 1 girl! They woke up and got talking, seemed like a nice hungoveer bunch!! We then booked our whitsundays and fraser trips...priceeeeyy!! and headed to the Lagoon! We then met the lads and had a bbq by the lagoon, they have these public ones all down the coast which use gas and are free! really cool! we then went back to the dorms for drinks (except me on the water and antibiotics!) and headed out to shinannigans for a boogie!

The Whitsundays

20th we checked out and went to the pier to get on our sailing boat - British Defender!! there was about 30 of us, pretty squished into the beds and me and vic got a double to share! We went to a beach on Langford Spit for the afternoon to chill and got fresh nachos made for us...lurvly!! The food on the boat was fab, made some friends, not many party people though! had drinks (tea for me lol) on the deck under the stars, beautiful! was weird because there was lightning in the distance but it was warm and no rain!

21st - Woke up sweatin in view of everyone as our bed was next to the kitchen lol! we were only allowed a 30sec shower a day so made the most of that! We went to stonehaven to go snorkeling, but had to wear sexy stinger suits cos of the jellies!! We then went to Blue Pearl Bay to go scuba diving on part of the great barrier reef, but it wasnt as good as we expected, obv not one of the impressive spots. still nice to do it again tho, love scuba diving. We had lunch on the bay, then went to Whithaven beach and on the way we saw some DOLPHINS!! 1st time ever!! was amazing!! The Whithaven beach is 97% silicone so basically really pure, white and fine! One of the purest in the world! We buried neil and played frisbee and got some xmas photos taken (see facebook!) We also saw a reef shark swim right along the shore line. We were then back on the boat for food and drinks!

22nd - We went through hook passage and had some fun and races with another rival boat - boomerang. We jumped in without the stinger suits and risked it lol! Nicely topped up our tan and went back to the main land and chilled by the lagoon and got sunburnt lol!! Later on I went for a dijaridoo lesson which was pretty cool! and then had the best dinner ever.. DOMINOS!! amazing...made my own texas bbq as they dont have it over here! We then went to the bus stop for our overnight bus and bumped into some lads we were in the same hostel and flight from singapore! tis weird how u just bump into people!
