27th Was nice to have a lay in and scrambled eggs for brekky at Emilys! had endless cups of tea (no powdered milk yay!) then got back on the greyhound bus to Brisbane. Bumped into some lads from Singapore..again! Hostel was really nice, had dinner and some drinks and mingled. I realised more people than I thought were in Oz, and a hockey friend from uni - Andy Leat- rang me and we arranged to meet up! had a little catch up and have a new love for cider with rasberry! yum!

28th We went to Australia zooo - Steve Irwins. Was cool - full of crocs. Watched Bindi Irwin perform and saw the family do a croc show. We fed some kangeroos, so cute, and then held a koala!!! I want one! Was very hot and muggy though, rained a bit.

29th We got up early and went to Byron Bay for the day. Couldn't believe it was raining when we got there, we were meant to stay until 10pm but changed bus to 4pm. Had a wonder round, reaally nice place, I love it! We went to the beach and watched surfers getting taken out by waves! Had some lush tiramisu - new love for it! We then headed back for dinner and drinks, played some table footy then headed to the kareoke bar with Andy and rocked the rather quiet place! The old chinese lady was a very entertaining singer though lol!!

30th We decided to go sight seeing with Andy and a couple of his roomies. We went on a boat to admire the skyscrapers, and then went shopping for a NYE outfit. We then hopped on a bus up to Mt Cootha lookout point, great views of the city. We then had to head back and go to the airport to fly to Sydney babey!!!
