Arrived in southern thailand on Saturday morning. Had to get a coach to Krabi where we're staying in so called beach bungalows although its a bit of a walk to the beach! Quite cute little huts though. Went out and got drunk on saturday night as part of Becky's belated birthday celebrations. Had a really good night getting to know people etc. Went to a beachside bar/club at the end where we stayed until about 2.30am. Then had to be up early to go on a speedboat trip! Luckily no one was ill! Saw loads of really pretty islands and did some snorkelling. Took a little while to get used to breathing through a pipe! Saw loads of tropical fish - really bright colours. Also saw where the film The Beach was filmed - called Maya Bay and is part of the Phi Phi Don island group. Absolutely fantastic beaches and the water is so clear and blue - no one wants to leave!!
