Hi today me, Rob and Patrick hired a car in St Kilda and started our journey along the Great Ocean Road to Adelaide. It's only 800km so should get there in 4 days. Once I arrive in Adelaide will probably stay there for a couple of days and then fly to Cairns and travel down the East Coast for my last 3-4 weeks in Australia. Oh the other night, Lara (a random girl in dorm) came home late and was really drunk; she woke everyone before she clambered into her bunk. Later we got woken up by the Japanese girl (in the bunk below her) trying to wake Lara saying: "Me wet, me wet". It soon became apparent Lara was so drunk she'd wet herself and well.. it had dripped on to the poor Japanese girl below. It took her a while to realise she was covered in urine. However when she did, she shrieked and threw her wet night blouse on the floor and had the longest shower ever so I didn't have the best sleep as you can imagine..quite funny though! We left Melbourne and drove along the Great Ocean Road stopping at the famous sufing beach, Bell's Beach. We then continued along the stunning coastline and stopped at the lighthouse used in the childrens tv series "Around the Twist". We continued along the coast until we reached Apollo Bay. We checked into a really modern but slightly expensive YHA hostel. We had fish and chips on the beach next to the beautiful little town. Later we got beer from the bottle shop and sat on the rooftop patio watching an amazing sunset. It got dark and I was amazed at the stars, you never see them at home-so bright! We chatted to a few couples and went to bed around 1am.
