Neil's Round the World Trip!
We all got up around 9ish and suddenly realised it wasn't warm. There was a tropical rainstorm and so it wasn't insufferably hot. We had breakfast and then walked around the jungle owned by Runawasi. The house and grounds only cost $18,000. We found a termites nest and an armadillo burrow. We then walked through the garden full of yuca, coffee and starfruit plants.
We chilled out in the afternoon in the hammocks reading and playing cards. We had a huge BBQ for our lunch. The steak was superb and really got me in the mood for Argentina as Freddy said the steak there is even better! There was also fried banana, avocado and baked yuca.
I played cards with Noble (a Spanish professor at Penn University). He said he's having a huge party Liam! He says he'll look you up and email you an invite?! He's learning Aymara at the school and his Spanish is excellent. We said our farewells to Freddy and his wife.
We then drove back to the drug control and then on to Cochabamba through the evening. We reached the bright lights of CBBA around 11 and I told my parents all about my trip to Chapari over some aromatic cinnemon tea. I then hit the sack after my exertions in Chapari!
