Which was part of the death railway that the Japanese forced POW's to build during WWII . It's amazing and moving to walk 4km of the track , especially knowing that 200,000 people died building it . I'm only here for a couple of days , i had to connect on my way back to Bangkok . Apart from melt in the heat i've had a walk around the old part of dubai , where you'd think you were in a completely different world . With no high rise or glass fronted modern buildings .
