To get from Manila down to Kho Tao was a beast of a journey. Plane-Taxi-Train-Bus-Boat and then a scooter. The night train was a revelation though and I managed to get a good sleep on there. The train journey down from Chiang Mai was pretty smooth to be fair. 10 hours on a train is never good for morale but it was nice and cool on there and not too busy at all. I arrived in Chiang Mai at around 1600 and got a taxi to the hostel I was staying in.
