After exploring Prague all day and flying for another 2 hours we landed in Stockholm. The company fate was undertermined but at least we were provided with a 4 bedroom farmhouse, complete with a fireplace and horses in the backyard. The house quickly became a holding place for the lost flight attendants that were waiting for any news regarding the company. Each day we would all wake up and wonder if today we would hear any positive news we were working. Day after day, phone call after phone call and still we all sat in the house sharing stories, bedrooms, and great home cooked food and heard nothing. After being cooped up in the house Michael and I had to escape so we started our outdoor running. I have to say most of the trails in Stockholm were the best I've seen. The trees were all changing colors from lush green to many shades of gold and red. The only bad part about living in Sweden in the winter is the sunlight or lack of light. If we wanted to do anything outside we had from 9-3:30, not a lot of time. There were many nights we wanted to de-stress and crack open a bottle of wine if we had only remembered to visit the government store. What is wrong with a country where you have to buy liquor from a govenment store on certain days during certain hours and it's expensive. We defintely won't be moving there. We all were crossing our fingers hoping the company would be flying soon, until Michael received a call to fly one of the planes to Canada as a repo job. Three weeks later Alexis came to the house with her house keys and told us they were traveling to Athens to reclaim their money from the Dodgy owner of the company and we were to look after her house and cat. I guess desperate times make you do just about anything especially when the police are questioning your business practices. Soon it became like "groundhog day" after weeks of getting up, feeding the horses next door, getting out of bed at 10 and the sun going down early each day blended together. After weeks of not having any news or awsers from the company and me crying we gathered our 4 suitcases and traveled to London to see Peta. We figured our family has to take us in and feel sorry for us, not to mention it's free room and board. a long night of packing we loaded our suitcases into the car and drove to the airport with our flight attendant friend Jenny. There we were again trying to scam the airline and get a discounted rate for our oversized bags. We packed our checked bags to 23kg and lour carry-on to 8 kg. After the ticket agent weighed our bags and made sure we followed the rules we quickly took our carry-on bags outside where Jenny was waiting and re-packed our bags to max capacity (15kgs). We boarded the plane an hour later and said good-bye to Sweden and hello to London.

Rhonda Williams yes Michelle, family usually takes you in, no matter what! I'm glad you have had the time to travel and see the wonderful things you have seen, and visited the many parts of the earth.
