Wow I cant believe im on island number 3 i keep looking over at char to see how close she is to finishing but im not too sure so will just keep going untill she stops. Well the boat ride to Koh phangan was not as planned it was sucha bad weather by now we realised its side effects from japanese tsunami (cant complain bout abit of bad weather after what they had been through). Th eboat was so rocky i felt like we were going to go overboard and still amazed all our bags remained on the boat,. I had to really concentrate so as not to be sick esp when u see people running for the bathrooms.

Got to Koh phangan and got a taxi that took us to holiday beach resort...we had booked on booking.com before we left. Got there and were taken to our room, all the huts were made out of concrete not wood so i turned to char saying this is a good sign when we turned the corner and there was a bunch of wooden huts. haha spoke way too soon. The hut was a lot bigger though and alot more room to move around. We went for some lunch and to tell teh guy who worked tehre our fan didnt work, anyone would have thought wed just asked him to climb everest for us sigh after sigh, he was american and the most unhelpful person id ever met too busy trying to watch films on his laptop. The food wasnt great at the place andthe people were about as helpful as the american guy. We soon spotted swimming pool so headed out there. nice blue pool right on beach looked really nice. We fell asleep in sun lounger/deck chair things and woke up abit later to go inside and head for something to eat down the road.

The next day we woke up and headed out to find a towel for me on way back stopped off at place called food factory who sold the most amazing burgers in the world...honestly word cant describe how good they were.. then we went to the pool again this time it was green like full on bogey green,,,what the hell had happened over night,. we decided we wanted swim anyway so got in then sunbathed. Later a guy walked past with his kids telling them they were not to go in pool as it wasnt safe...i checked for any green streaks on me and seemed ok so screw it...we were just happy the pool was there. Loadsa irish guys taking pics of eachother jumping in the pool etc i just found it amusing to sit there and watch them. Later that night was the half moon party, we had a little nap and woke up and got ready, Went to our hotel for dinner because we didnt have much money on us and they put it on tab...ordered cocktails from their extensive cocktail list only to be told they didnt do any...right so the list is for what? so we decided we needed to get drunk quick as we were heading out and it was already half 9 so we decided half bottle of champers each would do it...obv they didnt have that either even though it was on menu! we had vodkas in teh end... very strong though had to add sprite so i didnt choke! Went bk to room and downed this wine drink we had left from teh last place. Then headed out paid for a two way taxi to and from hotel which suited us in case we didnt have any money left to get home..

Got to this jungle place and purchased a bucket of vodka which we mixed with coke and red bull was interesting, we then went in and got butterflies and dots painted on her face, and headed to get our free drink, strawberry daquiri...couldnt work out if it was really sweet or really strong seemed liked the latter, the state we were in later. Went to get another drink (vodka red bull bucket) and seen the guy who worked at food factory who had been talking to us earlier in the day...he made our drink extra strong which would usually eb good but we were drinking so much so quick it soon hit us. Char went to the toilet and i sat downw aiting as aguy tripped over me and then decided o sit down to apologise , his name was gavin and he was a state and a half. When charcame back over he got the hint and left. we then seen this girl from our hotel who honestly looked like she was going jogging not to a party and my god was she annoying "in sweden we do this...in sweden they do that" go back to bloody sweden then!!! Met this other guy from israel who told us about fiji and scared us alittle more with the expense of australia. The half moon party was awesome lights everywhere, people dance getting messy,not really mine and chars type of music to dance to but we were enjoying ourselves. Met this guy called jamie who started talking to us about laos and he had a friend who worke dtehre so wrote it all down for us on this piece of cardboard so we could get free drinks when tubing. Talked to him for a while was a right giggle then his mate came over and didnt look too impressed with him, hed obv been looking for him so off he went. Me and char got yet another bucket tehn went to sit down, by this time we werent feeling very well in the end we decided to leave and char (the state she was in) was still better at directions than me and leaded me out of there. Saw the guys from our hotel as we left but were in no state to talk. Got the taxi and after a bumpy ride made it back to our hotel where we got some water and char started chatting up some old fat thai guy untill i dragged her into the hut.... haha beer goggles for sure! Lets just say we were both very ill that night...and we can blame it on the alcohol. it was ridiculous up most of the night..This is very unlike char aswel shes usually hardcore. The next day we jumped in the pool (still green) and it helped a little bit but still not lots) got told we need to move huts so moved to a concrete hut (which had geckos everywhere and a bird which im sure was trapped in the roof sqwawking away constantly. ) Walked for what seemed liek miles to find cashpoint and Went for food and had food factory again, ate chips there then took burger back to hut. Everytime i read a chapter of my book i rewarded myself witha bite of the burger...honestly its sooo good. Char was playin about with her hair its now long enough to put ina pony tail, she made a bun on side of her head adn called herself princess layla instead of princess leia like she meant which made me chuckle so now i call her layla. We had gecko in the bin so when i tried to remove it it ran around the floor and under bed. Me and char were convinced it wanted our burger. Skyped dad that night and lisa a few days before was so good to see them and it made me a little homesick but il survive. The next day we spent by pool as the sun was out properly this time, got rather burnt but really enjoyed the day. Had Tom Yum soup for lunch (soooo good) mother look up the recipe please. and then for dinner went to german bar and i had schnitzel (suprise suprise but pork this time) char and currywurst. Still off alcohol for 2nd day in row and headed for internet. After the net i felt really ill i had to run around to nearest alley to be sick (may i remind u no alcohol) maybe sun stroke or something but came out of nowhere...not been a well bunny lately. Went back to the hut and slept as we were leaving for bangkok the following morning at half 11 another 16 hour journey bad times ahead :(

Loved all three of the islands very different but very good fun :)
