The flight to Christchurch was excellent. We got onto the plane and somehow managed to sleep solid until we were told to fasten our seatbelts for landing. Actually concerned we may have been drugged... But realistically the lack of sleep was most probably the reason.

The flight landed 30 minutes early so we headed straight over to pick up our camper. Due to our early arrival we had to wait around a little, but this gave us chance to stock up on leaflets. We now have a pretty impressive collection!

The van then pulled up outside and its awesome. It has a little kitchen with a stove, sink and a fridge. It also has a seating area which turns into a double bed. It's small, but its all we need!

With time against us we decided to head just out of Christchurch to find a camp site for the night. Along the way we picked up our weight in pasta and sauce, then found somewhere to stay for the night.

We fell asleep early, ready to head south in the morning.
