I woke up again at 6a.m, worked on my computer for a while and later left to get food for lunch from MacDonald's. For each order they gave us silk milk, which I did not drink since, I am not used to the taste of it. After that we all assembled in the lobby. It was a bit sad since we were saying bye to some Washington university students some of whom I had come to bond. We then took a bus to see the Danxia Mountains. I read my novel along the way and I was glad to have finished reading it that night before I slept. After arriving we saw a video about the history and formation of the landscapes and got to go around the show room to learn more about the museum. It was interesting how they named some of the hills according due to similarity in shapes to the genitalias. For example there was male and female mountains. The climb was such a fun activity. We went through different landscapes such as tunnels, caves, very steep slopes and waterfalls. We also had a great boat-ride along the river. We got to see a temple a group of people who lived there and seemed to follow the traditional religion. They were clean-shaven and do not get married. We also experienced another kind of culture where women burnt incense in front of the view of the male hill in order to become pregnant. It was a great exercise regimen to detoxify after having eaten lots of fatty foods. Almost everyone was drenched in sweat. I also bought some souvenirs at the peak and we had lunch together at the peak. It was such a great experience and the scenery was beautiful. In the evening we had hot pot for dinner. I loved the new experience and the company though for me hot pot isn't the best way to have food since the food wad mostly overcooked or undercooked if you aren't used to it. We then went to the Karaoke place but unfortunately all the rooms were fully booked. We then decided to sit outside by the river and played games until midnight. It was a great way to spend our last night in China.
