I woke up at 7a.m. I can't believe I am loosing the jet lag when am about to leave china. I decide to check and reply to emails till 8a.m when I decide to shower and start packing. I don't have much to pack since most of the items are in my suitcase. After packing I rush to the bakery and buy breakfast. I am happy to receive gifts from three of the shaoguan student. I was torn about whom to give the two Philadelphia key chains I had bought in the U.S. I had to make decision since I couldn't please everybody. I decided to give the two students whom tried a lot to interact with me but sometimes it was difficult due to their limited fluency in English. I loved their gifts and they were also so excited about the Keychains. We had two wait for one and half hours since the bus driver of the bus we had booked was stubborn due to a mix up about the pick up location. As we waited under the increasing heat we made jokes and reminisced some of the moments. And once again we had to say bye to the shaoguan students. No much emotions since I don't think we bonded much due to time and language barrier but I must say we loved them because of the way they treated us and welcomed us. They are the greatest host in the trip. I will miss them too. Some of us played card games in the bus while most of the people took the time to sleep. I was a bit surprised when I was pulled aside during the entry back to Hong Kong and interviewed about our stay in China. The migration officer said it was a random security check. At night we had Japanese dinner at the food court and then went to the peak where we saw the spectacular view of the whole Hong Kong city. It was the best view I have seen of a city. Though tired from the travelling, I must say it was a great day.
