We packed up camp very groggily as we were so hangover! We set off on the road again to Memphis, Tennessee. When we got there we noticed so many huge RV's like the size of coaches towing 4x4's on the back! This country is nuts!
We got tickets to Graceland which is Elvis' house. We saw inside his house which has been preserved and it's the same as when he died in the 70's. We also saw his car collection, his grave and his two planes. It was a great experience, quite sad to see his grandma out lived him but we all enjoyed it very much. We went back to camp and our tour leader, Anne, said she had s surprise for us. We were all panicking as we were so tired and hungover and just wanted to go to bed. After a spaghetti bolognese tea two pink limos rolled up at camp and all us sweaty tired campers soon perked up! We went to a restaurant called marlows which has won awards for it's desserts. It was decorated with elvis memorabilia and we were greeted with a "how y'all doin?" by the very southern waitress. We ate brownies and ice cream which Anne was paying for and drank very chlorine-y tap water as we are too stingey to buy a beer! When we got back to camp we all went to bed really early to rest up as we are on to New Orleans next for another fun filled night out!
