We got up earlier today so we could make advantage of the breakfast. We had these huge waffles u make yourself and covered them in butter a syrup mmmm.
We left New Orleans (yay) and headed to a swamp for tour that we are doing. It was really cool we saw this huge alligator and I think it was something like 12 feet long, scary, we also saw some little ones and the guy was feeding them hot dog sausages there was also some racoons there and we gave them some food and they were really cute. The swamp was a really pretty landscape and we had never seen anywhere like it before, there were little shacks and some houses along the waters edge that could only be reached by boat. We all really enjoyed it and got some great photos.
We headed to our camp which was a few hours drive away from the swamp, when we got there our tour leader, Anne had arranged for us to go see a high school American football game, it was pretty amazing and only $7 it was very over the top, exactly like the movies portray, with cheerleaders and a marching band, the band were really good this guy behind us had been traveling around with his son for 10 years watching important football games and he said that the half time band thing was the best he had ever seen, so we were really lucky, it was a great experience, but Becky still doesn't understand the game, but the team we were sitting with got thrashed 5-49.
Back to the camp after for more beer and card games with the group, we really must stop drinking every night!
