We woke after a long and lovely sleep and raided the free breakfast in the hotel packing our bags full of pastries and bagels because we don't really have enough money to eat! We got some money off vouchers from the touts (there is so many on Hollywood Boulevard) and went into Madame Tussauds and saw loads of waxwork celebs like Eddie Murphy, Beyonce, Cameron Diaz etc it was quite funny and we got some good photos. Becky really wanted to do a tour of the stars homes but we were really skint and had been told that you only see tall hedges and gates anyway so we pottered around looking at the walk of fame and we saw Alvin and the chipmunks had done their handprints!

We went back to the hotel and chilled out by the pool and ate some of our stolen breakfast foods. We got in a taxi with a mental Turkish cabbie driving about a million miles an hour and smoking a cigar. We got to the airport in one piece thankfully and tipped the cabbie all our left over change ( to be fair there was about $5 worth because even after a month we hadn't Sussed US change properly!) we felt a bit bad but we are leading the glamourous lives of the backpacker.

We hung around the airport which was tiny and had hardly any shops playing cards and trying to pass time for our flight to Auckland at 11pm. It was nice being in an airport again because usually it's so depressing at the end of a trip because you are going home but we are starting out on a new holiday all over again! Bring on New Zealand!
