We decided to give our livers a small rest and I had to get the bloody hair extensions out. Oh. And we needed some clean clothes. So we planned a day where I went to the salon while Kurt found a laundry mat and then we both had an afternoon of pampering. Couldn't bring myself to pay strip prices so with the help of google I booked some appointments. And my hairdresser was none other than jennifer Jackson. Who is she you may ask. Not only does she do great hair, she is one funny, funny lady and she has a bit of sass about her. So as he pulled fake hair off my head we get to talking and I tell her how crap the venetian was. As a 7 year local of Vegas she was not happy with this poor service. So on the phone she get to the Venetian an after 20mins of explaining she scores us comp'ed gondola rides AND 2 tix to phantom!!!!!! In row E. And she also explained to Kurt thy he better get back to the clothes in the dryer as where he stopped wasn't the best place and we may see someone walking down the street in our clothes. Jen Jackson you are the coolest person I've met in the US. After that we went to a little hidden oasis and were pampered with facials, massages and foot rubs. Back to the hotel so we could get ready for Phantom. A few champagnes, a hit on the pokies, dinner at Sushi samba ( the gyozas are to die for!!!) then a gondola ride and then phantom. We ended up doing more that Monday than the sum of all the other days in vegas! Kurt loved phantom. It was a shortened version but the singers were great. Tomorrow we check out.
