We drive out about an hour from Williams to the grand canyon national airport on the south rim of the canyon. We are doing a 1 hour chopper tour of the grand hole in the ground. We are early and they are late so we snooze for a bit in the reception area. The canyon is awesome. Big. We hit the I some number heading for the canyon. A big day of driving for kurt. We pass the Hoover dam taking photos as we zoomed by. We preferred to look up the Hoover damson Wikipedia rather than stop and read any plaques. It is just a big body of water.
