If you've seen the movie The Hangover then you'll understand our next few days. We did venture out onto the strip for a steaky beak (see photos of Kurt with characters) and a visit to a local mall very reminiscent of Toombul complete with department stores and weird dodgy shops but most of the time we stayed at the bar/casino. In fact there were a few days where we literally slept till 7pm, got up then went out till 6am. Crazy crazy town. Despite the dollars we spent at the venetian the service was crap. We went to redeem some of our points (base on what we spent in their establishment) and we were entitled to pretty much nothing. Combine that with a blade like thing in a pillow with no apology and after a few bevies we decided we didn't want to give them any more money. So at approx. 2am we cancelled the remaining stay at venetian and after a meal at Denny's and use of their wireless we booked into treasure island across the road for the next 4 days. Amen to the TI!!! The lovely chick on the front desk upgraded us, gave us a complimentary bottle of champers and 2 free buffet tickets. Thank you las Vegas! The hotel was heaps cheaper, still very nice but a little more middle class than the venetian which suited us fine. Again we gambled and drank and found the only pokie machine that paid out more than it took. If we had only played the Queen of the wild we could have funded our entire holiday. Day after day it gave us more money than we gave it. All up we prob won $1500. We were those people doing the sounds to encourage the win. Oom Shaka Shaka!!!!
