Day 2
We all slept in and had a lazy morning in the bungalow at Thornton Beach. We had self serve breakfast and relaxed under the fans. The heat was oppressive and soporific and it was difficult to get up the motivation to do much.
David went for a walk and the rest of us played games. Sam valiantly did some maths homework .
We drove to Masons waterhole for a cool and refreshing retreat before we drove to cape tribulation for lunch at the boardwalk cafe . We met Peter who will be our skipper on the Ocean Safari tomorrow.
We then walked out to the beach at Cape trib and watched the whitecaps attack the beach, trying to outrun the north easterly breeze.
