We woke up this morning, went and had some breakfast before packing up and checking out.

We were going to the Recolta cemetery today and took the metro a few stops before walking the rest of the way. It was really hot today, apparently 37, and we could feel it.

On arriving at the the cemetery we went in and started walking around. It was full of tourists and was an interesting site. It was not that big but full of lots of tombs. Some were really grand and elaborate and others were just very old. We walked round and took pictures and visited the famous Evita tomb. It felt a bit weird having a cemetery as a tourist attraction but it was interesting.

After we walked round Recolta, which was the really posh neighbourhood. We went to a couple malls and stopped at a food court, where I had sushi and Shivani a vegiburger. When then had some famous Freddo icecream.

We walked round a bit more before starting to head home. We walked along one of the main shopping streets as Shivani wanted to look for a new dress that would work in the warm weather. We went to loads of shops and found things were generally quite expensive. After a couple hours, she found something and we then headed to the hostal.

By then it was time to go to the airport already, so we called a cab and set off. It was only a short ride away and after checking in we had some pizza and beer as we waited for the plane that was delayed. We eventually boarded about 30 minutes late and took off as the sun was setting.

The flight didn't take long and after picking up our bags we went to find a taxi. They were a fixed price of 120 pesos which we found quite expensive. We took one anyway and after about 30 minutes reached our hostal.

It was a nice place, with a pool and the atmosphere was nice. While Shivani took a shower, I relaxed in the common area, had a beer and enquired about how best to visit the falls. There seemed like there was a lot to do so we decided we would set off early. It was already quite late so we went to bed.
