Sleep depravation, jet lag and an empty cupboard has taken it's toll. Sightseeing and soccer matches have made way for market day. A small jar of Vegemite for the equivalent $9 - hey an addict has to have his fix Tarn and I managed to get all of our supplies from the local Mercato Regionale with my minimal (and her none) knowledge of Italian. The stall holders all seemed to enjoy our efforts. The girls all went out while I cooked dinner and came back with Gelato - what a nice treat for slaving over some frying pancetta. Time to uncork the Sangiovese so ciao for now.
