We all got up and rushed out the door to make the 9:15 train to take is to Castelnuovo and got to the station with 8 minutes to spare. 25 minutes and one unintelligible announcement later we figured it was cancelled.
So we went home via the panificia for some fresh bread as we had missed our breakfast in Castelnuovo surely as the next train is not until 11:38 and driving was out of the question as you are more likely to find a park inside St Peters Basilica on a Sunday than in Castelnuovo on market day (or any other day it seems). Whilst my paesano's include zebra crossings, sidewalks and blind corners as parking options I cannot be that brash.
So it's back to the station for the 11:38 and hopefully a train appears this time and we don't have one of the fabled flash strikes on our hands, although whilst eating my bread and jam (toast is out the window) I hear a train go by, so fingers crossed for some luck this time and some wifi too. 
Ha ha luck changes quickly found some wifi so here is the first bit will upload the rest in Firenze Monday
