Got up about 7 and went for the bus. Had to transfer from hostel to another hostel as bus didn't pick up from Seapoint. Got there and caught up with Mal and Phil briefly. Double buses again and they got on the other one, mine was only going to Valencia. Had guy in front of me keep talking to me which was good but purely wanted to snooze and listen to music but tried not to be rude. After the service stop (excellent eggs and bacon) watched X Men 2, better than the first one I vaguely remember being dragged to but not great, watchable tho.
Arrived in Valencia about 1 and went to hostel. first impressions not great. On 5th floor of building but really nice once inside. Even had great books in book swap and english trashy magazines! Room good and bed comfy, such a perk having own room! Settled in and did some hand washing before heading out to find laundrette for the rest. Spent nearly an hour looking for the one the hostel guy had shown me and wound up at a hostel. My knight in shining armour, Glen told me that they were all closed and that he could do my laundry for me. Followed him to the other hostel of same chain and found myself putting clothes in random hostel machine. Was told to come back in four hours and left it in their (hopefully) capable hands. Had a wander around the old town and had lunch/dinner before going back to hostel. Read my book for a while and headed out to find hostel again. Found it easier than I'd hoped and washing still wet so waited and used net. Really great guys at this hostel and so friendly. Went to collect washing and the guy let me have it for free. Feel that there are still some good people left in this world. Gets tiring not being able to trust anyone fully and being constantly aware for thieves. Had been reaching a point where I was ready to come home and I now feel inspired to keep going, all due to free laundry! Left hostel with washing and went back to hostel, read book and went to sleep a much happier lady.
