Had great sleep but had to get up as going on walking tour. Had good breakfast before going tho, well stocked up. Met the tour at Plaza Nuevo after interesting conversation with old Spanish guy, him entirely in Spanish and me in English, managed to make ourselves understood tho! Tour really good. native Spanish girl so really knew her stuff. Explained the meaning of the street names, tiles and loads of other stuff. Went into the Santa Cruz region and learnt about the history. All very interesting and enjoyed it. Arranged to meet another Busabouter later to do the cathedral and continued sightseeing. Went down to the river and crossed into the Triana region where they make all the tiles Seville is known for. Nice enough area but difficult to find lunch as all menus in Spanish and places full of old Spanish guys so didn't feel over welcome. Found a small shop and bought some crisps and a drink to keep me going and headed back towards the river. Came across great church, very colourful. Headed back across the river and back to the cathedral. Met the guy and went into the Cathedral (3rd biggest in world). Got huge discount cos of student card (gonna miss it so much) and went in. Very impressive due to size and ornateness but not too keen to be honest. All a bit overwhelming and unnecessary in my humble opinion. climbed the bell tower. Has slopes not steps so a horse could be ridden to the top, would have made it easier on the old pins i tell ya. Great views at the top. Came down and headed out of cathedral and went back to hostel. Had a read and used the free internet. Met up with the guys at 9 30 for dinner, went to the same restaurant again as so good and all hungry. Enjoyed our meals and headed back to the hotel. Wanted to make the most of a great room and fell asleep about 1.
