Woke up in time to do the walking tour but when arrived was no guide. A little annoying but as up early enough could swap the days and headed out to Sintra. A few of us went out and took a while to sort trains. Sintra a lovely village with lots of palaces, castles etc. Good to walk around, went into a palace but felt very faint so headed back to the train station. Shame as would have liked to spend more time there but didn't feel better even after food. Came back to the hotel and spent the afternoon in bed. Felt better by the evening so walked to the cinema. All films in English with Portugese subtitles, excellent! Killed time in El Corte Ingles before going into see film. First time alone to a film and feel very growed up. Saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, thought it was brilliant. Johnny Depp slightly sinister tho. If i wasn't feeling odd enough about going alone the cinema staff didn't really help. When buying the ticket the guy assumed I wanted 2 and then when I was in the room I was completely alone and the usher guys were chatting to me and turning the lights up so I could read my book better. Was all very friendly but only seemed to emphasise my loner-ness! After film caught a taxi back as so unsafe and went to bed.
