Went on Fat Tire Bike Tour Berlin today with Adelena. yet another really great guide - Enda (very good looking think I might have paid extra attention!) Saw all the main sights, Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, Jewish Memorial, Museum Island, Reichstag (parliment building) etc. All this in the pouring rain, got soaked to the skin. stopped for lunch at beer garden (sat inside however!) Had huge portion of baked tuna pasta that made biking difficult after. Tour finished about 4.15 and used internet at the shop for a couple of hours. Ate at hostel, food all organic so was really yummy. Was Suzie's 30th so went on organised pub crawl. A disappointment especially after some of the uni ones. The guides were not very good and there was a lack of interaction on the tour. Went to cheesy club at the end but the others wanted to move on to trance club - not exactly my sort of thing so was ready to go back to hostel. Ended up living up to my 'Mum' nickname and escorted Adelena back as she was rather worse for wear! Got back about 2 30 and went to sleep.
