Travelled from Paris to Brugges - 5 hours on the coach. Goes quite quickly so far. Got to watch an episode of Ally McBeal (i can hear you groan boys!) Obviously just reminded me of my own Ally, Gable! Anyway arrived about one in Brugges really tired after Paris so got some food from the local supermarket and crashed in the room all afternoon. Dorms nice, lots of beds but clean. Showers not so clean however! Had to go through the hostel and across the patio unless you found a snidy shower like me and Suzie so we just went in the room next door! In the evening got some fries and mayo in the square from one of the carts and walked through the town to a music festival. They had some kind of open night for the museums and outdoor music, lucky timing. Music festival had really great atmosphere (and huge beer tent!). Had hippy sort of stands. Suzie, Mark and I just wandered around, watched some kids doing breakdancing - so impressive! The music wasn't great but watched a few folky bands play. Went home about midnight.
