so cambodia was great, we only spent a week there but kinda wish we'd stayed longer. we went to the capital pnom penh for a night but ended up stayin for 5 nights cos twas so much fun. the people there were much nicer than in vietnam, took a couple of days to get to grips with the fact that everyone in cambodia is in fact not trying to rip you off, which was nice. we went to see the famous killing fields when we were there, they found the bodies of 8985 murdered ...

in chiang mai now, the 14 hour train journey was grand, got a bed so just slept for bout 10 hours. stayed in julie guesthouse last night, great backpacking place, you just take whatever you want from the fridges and that, write it in a book and pay when you leave. stayin in NAT guesthouse tonight, not as nice but its grand. rented mopeds yday and drove up the mountains, brian melinn had to go on the back of mine cos he wouldnt get his own so that slowed me down....
