Gorgeous day, but still VERY high winds on the high northern plains! Ran into some road construction on MT-200 West - road completely gone, stripped all the way down to the dirt and gravel, just like in Alaska. Pilot truck and all. Came upon a guy on and RT from Pennsylvania; he did not seem to know what to do, so I pulled up next to him and told him to follow me. We pulled in front of all the traffic, right behind the pilot truck. I just put the bike in Enduro mode. After, we both stopped at the next gas station. He said he had never ridden in anything like that! Roads are really rough out here and it feels like all the rubber is getting worn off!
