Left at 0730 hours in 62 degrees for Billings. Nice ride all the way, hit 95 degrees about 30 miles outside of Billings. Rode along the Yellowstone River most of the way, within eyeshot of the highway. Went to the Moss Mansion Museum- one of the family of founders of Billings. Very neat place1. 95% original. Heading to Butte by way of Missoula, Montana. Spotted by Big Sky Motorsports and ran into a few rally guys having some work done on their bikes. One of them helped me check my oil. I then headed to the Musuem of Modern Art for a little bit. Small Musuem, interesting exhibits. Then, to a Montana Club for lunch - this chain has really good food! Kind of tossed a coin this morning to see if I should just head to Kalispell. Montana, which is my next stop for the night, OR head to St Mary and see if I can get onto the Going to the Sun Road. I am staying an extra night in Great Falls, to avoid the mass exodus of traffic. I did laundry, and the went to the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center/Museum. A worker there told me about the CM Russell Musuem a few miles away, so I headed over there as well. Russell was a famous artist from the area; museum was very cool. Headed to the rally site at 0900 hours and decided to go to the seminar, "Women Who Ride". Lots of women there, and a few men. Lori was there too. We met up with her husband, John, afterwards and decided to do the Falls loop around Great Falls. Steve Cox joined up too. It was another gorgeous day.
