Heading to Butte by way of Missoula, Montana. Spotted by Big Sky Motorsports and ran into a few rally guys having some work done on their bikes. One of them helped me check my oil. I then headed to the Musuem of Modern Art for a little bit. Small Musuem, interesting exhibits. Then, to a Montana Club for lunch - this chain has really good food!

Getting HOT - 86 degrees at 11am on the road to Butte. Started feeling overheated, so stopped and went into a gas station and cooled off. Wet my headband, wristbands, neck scarf, and filled my Camelback with cold water. Just not feeling good.

Luckily, the speed limit is 80 so I got to Butte pretty quick! Hotel was short-staffed, so room wasn't ready. Chatted with a guy from Californian, a Republican until our rooms were ready. Went to the casino in the hotel for a drink, and a guy referred me to the Oasis restaurant, walking distance, for dinner. Had a very good chicken quesadilla!

Off to Billings, Montana in the heat wave again tomorrow. May have to re-think some of my stops. Leaving super early to ride in the cool hours of the morning.
